Fleet Maintenance Division
The Cumberland County Fleet maintenance facility is responsible for the care and maintenance of all county vehicles and equipment. We are also responsible for the preparation of all vehicle bids. We currently maintain about 100 vehicles. This includes marked patrol cars, detective cars, prisoner transport and 4 wheel drive trucks for snow removal. The vehicles travel over 1.25 million miles annually.
We take great pride in our preventive maintenance program. Vehicle safety is our first concern. In an effort to help control pollution in our environment, we have an extensive recycling program for all the waste that is generated from the maintenance of the fleet.
