The RFP - Scope of Services; Section 1.B.3 states that the Report should evaluate proposed renovation elements from prior studies, copies of which are provided, but the Report should not be limited to program elements from any particular report.
From the information on the website, it appears that there is only one proposed scheme ("Package for July 29 Meeting"). Are there other studies / schemes that we should be considering? If so, how do we obtain copies?
Answer: For some reason the information had been temporarily removed, and has now been restored.
-
As noted by the "Evaluation of Renovation Plans" information on the website, any proposed renovation element will likely impact operations and/or architectural components of the Civic Center. Is it expected, or required, that proposers include an architect/engineer as part of their team in order to help evaluate architectural impacts and costs?
Answer: It is not anticipated to do any design work, but to use the materials provided as a basis for your research, including the Civic Center Management recommendations.

The "Package for July 29 Meeting" includes a Preliminary Pre-Schematic Budget ("Budget"). Is it expected, or required, that proposers develop their own estimate of proposed renovation costs as part of this scope of work, or should we utilize the estimated costs provided by the Budget? If the latter, is there a more detailed breakdown of costs by line item available?
