What is the Budget Advisory Committee?

The budget advisory committee (BAC) is made up of three representatives from the municipalities within each of the three commissioner districts. They are selected to three year terms at an annual caucus held by the commissioner. The BAC meets from Septemeber to November, reviewing the proposed County budget and making recommendations for the Commissioners final approval of the fiscal year budget in December each year, as required by statute.
