CCSO Business Office
The Business Office provides financial, accounting and payroll services to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. These services include:

Preparation, analysis and management of the Sheriff’s Office $20+ million annual budget

Research and analyze policies, practices and potential programs for the Sheriff, Chief Deputy and management staff

Processing for payment approximately 6,500 invoices annually

Weekly payroll processing for 243 staff members from the law enforcement, jail, civil and administrative departments

Oversee the inmate money account for a daily average population of 492 inmates with a total of approximately $22,700 in their accounts

Administer the inmate commissary account, which includes approximately 12,000 inmate orders annually (inmates receive commissary once a week)
