"As Chief Deputy of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office my responsibilities include the oversight of approximately 250 employees consisting of the Corrections Division, Civil Division, Field Services Division and support personnel in a similar manner as a Chief Operating Officer of a company in the private sector or the Police Chief.
With a yearly budget of $19 million, the task of ensuring that the Corrections Division budget of $14.5 million, Field Services budget of $3 million, and the Administrative budget of $1.5 million is utilized in an efficient, effective and fiscally responsible manner. Furthermore, our future challenge is the development of new and innovative ways of providing services to the citizens of Cumberland County in a manner that will continually make the County of Cumberland a safer and enjoyable place to live."
