Commissioner Esther B. Clenott

I am completing my 16th year as a County Commissioner and have announced that I will not run for re-election.

These years have been very exciting, happy, and challenging for me. I have seen and participated in many positive changes and growth. We have added important staff such as a county manager and assistant manager, finance director, and new programs such as Domestic Violence Intervention, Community Development Block Grant, and I.T. with superior directors. We have constructed a sheriff’s complex and a communication’s center. Most importantly I have had the opportunity to work with a great bunch of people – jail, patrol, the courthouse and in Augusta.

I have no intention of retiring; hoping someone out there wants me!
