Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency (CCEMA)
The County of Cumberland’s Emergency Management Agency is responsible for carrying out the annual work program and other tasks directed to the agency by the State of Maine, Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management. The mission of the Emergency Management Agency is the coordination, preparation and carrying out of all emergency functions, except military, to minimize and repair injury and damage resulting from a disaster which exceeds local and County resources. The Emergency Management Agency’s responsibility embraces active involvement in state and federally administered programs which include:
