Cumberland County 2018 Community Development Block Grant Applications Available



Cumberland County, ME – Applications are now available for Cumberland County 2018 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and can be found on the Cumberland County website at:

Funds come from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Eligible projects include public facilities and infrastructure, housing, economic development, planning, and public services. Projects should primarily benefit low-moderate income communities or individuals/households.

Program staff are available to discuss project ideas, answer application questions, and make site visits. An application workshop will be held on November 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Windham Town Office to review application and program requirements.  

Cumberland County is the only county in New England that directly receives CDBG funds and has distributed over $12.8 million in CDBG funding to its member communities since 2007.
