Cumberland County Community Development typically accepts applications for upcoming program years beginning in early November and ending in late January. See below for specific year program announcements, application materials, and supplemental information specific to the County program. Income Limits
Qualifying low/moderate household income limits adjusted for household size. Limits represent 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), adjusted for household size.

Exception Rule List
The Cumberland County CDBG Program falls under a special rule allowing more locations to quality for "area-wide" activities beyond the standard "51%" low/moderate income requirement. One quarter of census block groups in our 25 member communities qualify for area-wide activities under the exception rule.

Distress Scores
Each community is assigned a score from 0 to 10 points based upon two factors: (1) Percent of low/moderate income residents of the total community population and (2) percent of low/moderate income residents in the 25 communities of the Cumberland County Entitlement Jurisdiction.
