Community Development Block Grant Program
Beginning in 2007 Cumberland County became a direct recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds. Cumberland County joins hundreds of cities and counties throughout the country in the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development’s (HUD) flagship grant program funding locally directed community development initiatives. Over $3.7 billion is distributed to cities, towns and counties each year.
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides federal funds enabling communities to plan and implement critical community development, housing and social service programs and projects. Click here for the Income Limits.
