Community Development Block Grants Recovery Act Funds (CDBG-R)
Cumberland County is eligible to receive $395,941 in Community Development Block Grant Recovery funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (CDBG-R)
The County has prepared a substantial amendment to its 2008 Annual Action Plan to be submitted to HUD outlining the projects and programs to receive CDBG-R funds. The Plan Amendment is now available for review. The public is invited to provide comments to Aaron Shapiro or by contacting Aaron Shapiro, Community Development Director tel. 207-699-1905.
Persons wishing to provide public input in person may attend the County Commissioner’s meeting on June 1, 2009 where the County Commissioners will be voting on the approval the Plan Amendment.
